Iv'e just walked to withdean stadium...

Shocking conditions. I Was walking from my house which is at most 15 minutes away and it took 1 hour an 10 minutes! All the pavements are frozen and the tunnel leading to the ground, the outside of the turnstiles for south and family stands, the ramp leading to the car park and the car park are completely frozen.

The running track that is normally used is also frozen as well as areas of the pitch and from what I could see parts of the south stand.

I the game was on any day before Saturday I would say there is no chance of it being on but because it is on Saturday and 4 days or so away I would say it's about 50/50.

It just depends on grit being put in place as there looks like there has been absolutely no attempt at doing so. I really like the boxing day games so can we please get something done about it otherwise the game will certainly be off.

That's very good news. If they are the temperatures the we will be fine, let's just hope there is no snow.

What exactly is the point in putting down grit now when there is a likelihood of more rain during tonight? All it will do is wash the grit away without it doing anything.
