I'm sorry. I really am.

To everyone here. I will understand if I have to leave.

It was his charisma that first enticed me. Sure, the hair wasn't immediately an attraction but I grew to respect it.

I was captivated by what he said, the way he sat, the way he SCOFFED at fellow panelists. I enjoyed his insight, his anecdotes.

I'm sorry, but last night.......I really enjoyed watching SIMON JORDAN on Sky Sports news.

DAMN. :facepalm:Please tell me I'm not alone in suffering this problem?

He's basically a cartoon character - funny ,over the top and annoying but f**king entertaining providing you don't take him seriously.

I have often found with Jordan that one interview he comes across well and the next like a total pillock.

I have to say though I did like the way he derided Ian Dowie over his move from Palace to be nearer his family, and went to Charlton.

I thought he was quite entertaining last hight with his incites TBF. It's not something we hear about often as normal fans- I'm site many a chairman has a tale to tell.

Didn't really see it last night, but two of my mates said he was the most interesting thing about the whole evening so you're not alone!

I think it reallt helped having him and Nial Quinn as good cop/bad cop

Nial : "Oh oh...ummm..as a former chairman i'm...ummmm....I think that Aston Villa are gambling slightly, it could be said, but maybe they are doing a very shrewd move"

Simon: "Na, they've commited suicide".

Phew, I am glad someone else said it cause I was thinking the same. His use of language and vocabulary is certainly a breath of fresh air amongst the usual monotony of clichés presented by most players and managers alike.

Non-Sky household here so didn't see it, but I'm not surprised. I always thought his outlook and frank discussion of the issues surrounding football set him apart from a lot of the mundane dross who provide supposed expert commentary and punditry.

Empty your locker and wait to be escorted off the premises.

It was when he just BLASTED the Posh chairman for complaining about the collapse of the Boyd move due to the failed eye test.

He basically said "I'm sure he's screwed over another club before, he know's it goes on. Stop whinging about it and move on" or words to that effect.

He was also asked if he ever didnt want a player his manager was going to sign. He laughed and said "Akinbiyi". Lovely honesty.

Put my name down as having enjoyed him too. His constant sniping with Niall Quinn was a fantastic addition. The reality was that no big deals were going on, Danny Graham was the biggest move on deadline day! :lolol: So they needed something different and I thought he was brilliant. Refreshingly honest and didn't care what he said.

Odious man and wouldn't want to know him personally, but he was very entertaining to watch and a lot more interesting than the fence sitters.
