At 10.00 it's the cult classic "THE WHICKER MAN"

OK, been on loads of times but, if you've not seen it before then it's a must. It was my 1st ever X film, being the 'b' feature with "Straw Dogs" as the main film. Bunked off school to watch them at the Acadamy in West Street didn't have a clue what this film would be about. (Main reason for going was Susan George in Straw Dogs, of course)

The whicker man has Edward Woodward, Christopher Lee, Britt Eckland & Britt Ecklands bum double! A tale of paganism & terror....

CHRIST!!!!!!!!!!

(I wonder if such things go on in the wiered village of Falmer. Oh dear, now I'm worried!)

Alan Whicker back on TV!! Fantastic!!

I presume you mean Wicker Man, which is, indeed, excellent and one of my favourite films.

It was given away as a free DVD with The Guardian a while ago, so I might watch it before 10pm!!

Always prefered Ingrid Pitt to Britt.

Bought the soundtrack a few years back and it is actually very good, the folk music is just as double edged as the film itself and compliments it nicely.

The Wicker Man scared the crap out of me as a kid, the look on Woodward's face as he climbs the hill to see the Wicker Man in all its glory.

On a slightly different tangent, watched Hot Fuzz today, does anyone think the last half hour was nicked from the Wicker Man?
