Mrs Hut has a load of songs on her iPhone she synced with her nieces' iPhone and has a load of music on her phone not in her iTunes library.

How does she get this music of her iPhone to her iTunes account ?

she needs to plug her phone into her pc so the songs then upload to her iTunes library, once that has been done she needs to untick the music she dosent want then plug the phone in again to remove them.

Change setting to manually manage music.

Click on iPhone tab, this will bring up on screen section to update etc, click on music tab and then tick manually manage.

It says it has synced with another iTune library therefore do I want to erase this iPhone and sync with this iTunes library which means it will remove what is on the phone

I'm reading this that her iPhone is synced with a different iTunes account to the one you're trying to sync with now?

If this is the case then you'll need to set it up as a new iPhone on your iTunes then it won't overwrite anything

When you plug it in the first time a prompt comes up asking if you want to restore from a backup or set up as a new iPhone. Click on set up new iPhone. Before you plug it in do as suggested earlier and change the settings to manually update music then you can manually drag the music from the iTunes library over to the iPhone when it's plugged in

I would also recommend creating a playlist of all the music on each device you have (i.e. one playlist for mrs hut's iphone, one play list for yours) then you will have an easier time of transferring music at a later date if you lose it all (or get a new phone/ipod)

itunes is lame......use ipod via winamp and have some freedom :)) dont use syncing.

the only sync the misses should be on is the one with the dirty dishes.
