Been playing for quite a few months now, and the only complaint i have is that the transfers are so shit, i am in desperate need of a keeper, have tried to sign free and fee ones and keep getting turned down, can anyone offer me a keeper

Transfers are lousy, its taken me 3 seasons to sign one player (ironically just last night).

Try the transfers forum, probably better than going straight to the list.

I agree entirely.

My team are still doing well but I've lost players to retirement and am having an absolute nightmare trying to get them replaced.

After 6 seasons in the game now I finally managed to sign a much needed right back for silly money who I found in the transfers forum. However, I now have bugger all cash left to strengthen the rest of my team.

If anyone has an 80+ centre back for sale at around the £5m mark and preferably not ancient PLEASE let me know.

The best way to go is scour the transfer list for freebies. Then when you find one, offer the max on their wages (3 times their present one) and yes to bonus, car and house and you'll have more chance of getting the one you want.
If you look through the lists you'll be surprised at who's up for sale as a free transfer.
I'm in my eighth season and have been promoted 4 times mainly by getting freebies!
