You think if they were going to make it number one Resident might have ordered in some more copies of the Sault album. They don't seem to ever have any copies and they're still showing as sold out

The Sault albums are amazing. I’ve been trying to get hard copies for weeks and have resorted to pre ordering from Bandcamp as their label aren’t able to get hard copies to shops for whatever reason. You could have had their two 2020 releases at 1 and 2.

It’s the Rough Trade top 100 I have posted though.

Sault is a perfect example of what I absolutely love about music. A brilliant discovery and I have 4 albums to listen to.

I've heard of 11 of them, and heard none, but these days my listening is almost entirely children's music and DULL podcasts.

Think I’m going to sign up to RT’s Record of the Month club. Good way of discovering new stuff.

I’ve also bought a bit of vinyl based on Resident’s recommendations, like Ben Chatwin. Would definitely recommend.

Glad to see this thread is buzzing with activity. Albums -- and, inevitably, Live  -- threads have been somewhat inactive of late, and those talented musicians out there need our attention more than ever at the moment.

I've just given the Sault album a listen and have to say it's a Beaut.

And what’s even better is that they’ve got another 3 albums!

No Folklore on that list...pah!

I do have the Phoebe Bridgers and Dream Wife records though and both are excellent
