He'll manage at the very top. Incredibly style of play but mentality is top, I fear this will be his last season with us

Even if we get a Champions League berth?
then he'd stay but our squad is not strong enough to get top 4 (in my opinion)

I just think he would be the manager every big team in England and abroad would choose to be their manager. So it wouldn't surprise me if late this season if a team fires their manager and they're heavily chasing Roberto.

I do think Roberto would stay with us if we're still competing up the table or in Europa because he'd want to finish what he's started but I'm sure he's the type of guy to jump at the chance if we don't fully back him in the transfer market and we're not competing for Europe/cup competitions

I think the very biggest clubs tend to hire managers with success in Europe. If we do well in the cup, say Semis, he will be the number one target for any big clubs changing their manager.

He talks about mentality so much.

With a whole season under his watch he probably thinks he can get us one place better than last year...which this year would see us into the Champions League...so why not

Yes, but I (and, I think, many NSCers do too if they're being honest) felt the same about Potter. Initial reactions at the time? 'Chelsea after him?' 'What?....pfffft.....no chance'. 'He'll want to finish what he srarted'.
Now.............. here's a chance for some people to come on and say, 'No, I never thought that'.

.........and an even better chance for the rest of us to say, 'Yeh, right!'

Fantastic results to start the season. We really can rip anyone apart. Love De Zerbi’s mentality. I’m sure he thinks we gave away too many chances today that will cost us against better teams but so many positives about our attacking play. Just hope we can find that imposing midfielder who can tip the balance in the really big games & make us more robust. We could be a real force with a couple of additions.

Good start but against 2 relegation candidates. Let’s see where we are after 12 games

We're a pacy right back, a rapid centre back and a left back cover player away from top four this season*.

Come on Uncle Tony. You know what to do.

* I'd love a Caicedo replacement, but not sure they exist. I think RdZ will tweak his approach to allow for different skills to have an impact in our defensive midfield. It was evident yesterday that he has found a plan B already. More direct when needed, wing play etc.

But we’re top of the league overnight and with a decent chance that we could be there after this whole round of matches has finished!

I am not kidding myself that we are going to stay there, but we deserve it. They pointed out on MOTD yesterday that Wolves were not total rubbish, but we exploited their weaknesses. We punished them.
