The exact quote from Mike Parry on Talk Sport just now while they were discussing the West Ham predicament.
Disgraceful - typical premier league glory hunter!

I really can't stand him. I love my sport and love listening to the radio, but he ruins that channel with his inane mutterings, I can't bare to listen to it. Shame.
Personally, I have virtually no interest in the Premiership, and in fact it looks so incredibly boring that I'm not all that bothered if we don't get there. Playing in a league that we couldn't possibly compete in ..... hmmmm, not sure that sounds like much fun.
Down the Leagues we can be looking over our shoulder one week at the possibility of relegation, and a few weeks later, I'm looking up the division, thinking we can be right up there this time next year. I enjoy that rollercoaster too much to especially envy Premiership teams who dream of being 12th every year.

I agree the Premiership is what its all about.
So I will be supporting Brighton with all my heart until we make it to the premiership and I can say I remember when we........................
When we make it I will keep supporting until I die because thats what fans do.
Maybe one day I will see us win the premiership.
But he is right. at the moment our turnover is a few million which is probably Darren Fletchers turnover. I long for us to be playing Premiership football regularly
Why is it that Premier League teams/players/managers, no matter how many trophies they have won, or how brilliantly they play the game are ALL shit scared of Kevin Davies and Rory Delap??

Personally, I'd love it, LOVE it, if we were a yo-yo club like West Brom. Regularly good enough to go up to the Prem, and sometimes just about good enough to stay there, but on the seasons where we don't and we get relegated, we remain a very good (and SOLVENT) Championship club.
Never a dull moment for the Baggies fans. Thats what I aspire to for our club.
its odd isnt it, but Chelsea and Spurs seem to counter the trick fairly easily by have their CF (drogba/crouch) attack the incoming ball from the front of the 6yrd box. pretty obvious and effective.
