No?.quadrangle?
No?.quadrangle?
I’ve tried that but I can’t see the toasterturn over half way through.
Mrs Bodian purchased me some special wooden toast tongs to stop me doing this.Oh NSCers - just can’t see the sunny side of life - the untoasted bit provides a ‘handle’ to pull the toast out of the toaster when done so you don’t burn your fingers of course
(it also prevents idiots like me getting electrocuted when I stick a knife into the toaster to remove the toast )
What a great bread topic this is …
Makes a right mess of the toaster that does,You should try cheese on toast, with either marmite or pickle / chutney under the cheese.
Probably the correct name ,Trapezium?
quadrangleProbably the correct name ,
It would have two 90° angles ( the shape of the ) and two others that add up to 180° , Then the top slice slides over the bottom piece dropping into and filling the slot, done properly the lower slice can still be lifted out by it's corner thus alleviating the need to pick up, turn over and shake the toaster spreading burnt crumbs all over the kitchen...
You can also just switch the power off at the switch.Mrs Bodian purchased me some special wooden toast tongs to stop me doing this.
Makes a right mess of the toaster that does,
Yes. But I'm a bloke. We don't do sensible things like that when there's a pointlessly risky alternative! You can also just switch the power off at the switch.
A quadrangle is just any 4-sided shape (more literally, 4-angles, but it comes down to the same thing).quadrangle
Yes, those are trapeziums.Tommy Cooperism - just like that !.
does a trapezium have 90 degree angles?A quadrangle is just any 4-sided shape (more literally, 4-angles, but it comes down to the same thing).
A trapezium has two parallel sides, in this case presumably the two sides of the loaf.
Yes, those are trapeziums.
Fireman DanHave you tried folding it in?
It can have two 90 degree angles, but doesn't have to.does a trapezium have 90 degree angles?
If it had two 90 degree angles, wouldn't it be a square? It can have two 90 degree angles, but doesn't have to.
No.If it had two 90 degree angles, wouldn't it be a square?
hmmm, i still think it's more quadrangle than trapeziumIt can have two 90 degree angles, but doesn't have to.
This is the sort of idea that changes the world.turn over half way through.
Nothing wrong with the toasters...the bread's too bigI think, unusually, that the poster has a good point. Most toasters on the market today have this design fault. Lots of reviews complain as much.
