I'm embarrassed by our club PR at the moment. Its on the PA wire, BBC ceefax, Sky, and the Spurs site, that a fee has been agreed - and we're still saying negotiations are under way. For fucks sake sort it out. If a fee has been agreed, say so. We're treating people like idiots, and its unacceptable.

You don't know that Tooting, maybe Spurs have jumped the gun. How often has the Ronaldinho deal been agreed in the last few weeks?? Clubs do say it's all sorted before it has been. I've no reason to disbelieve Knight on this one.

I would imagine we have agreed 90% of the deal, but are still quibbling over "add-ons" or how much we get in cash up front.
