Poor old Hove. It's the poor relation in the United Kingdom of B&HA. Our club is abbreviated to Brighton in FT scores, in newspaper articles, in our songs....even our own merchandise forgets the Hove element. Albion gets plenty of attention too in chants etc. But not Hove...

Isn't it about time we recognised and honoured this much forgotten part of the alliance?!

Stick it you "Hove" actually types,your council tax does not pay for all of Brighton's essential services,you build speed humps down your posh streets and put your cars across the roads to ask us to slow down,then you come into Brighton from your mansions and speed down Brighton's streets,hurl your rubbish out the windows and use our pubs clubs hospitals,you even work here then you bugger off back to nice quiet tranquil Hove

You never say 'Brighton & Hove' in reference to the football club, you either say 'Brighton', 'BHA', 'The Albion' or 'Brighton & Hove Albion'. Brighton & Hove is the city, just sounds wrong calling the club that...

It's not Brighton and Hove Albion.

It's Brighton & Hove Albion.

Most of the clubs history was played at the Goldstone ground HOVE so this must be the true home of the club. Brighton has a long way to go before it is accepted as the senior player in this partnership!

Indeed. They had the homely name of Bournemouth and Boscombe Athletic before they went for the continental-sounding AFC Bournemouth. We're slightly stymied as the name of our appendage is built into the name of the place (the city of Brighton and Hove) so Hove will be harder to drop. Maybe TB should sell to a Malaysian? We could play in red and be the Brighton Dragons.
