The Economy is, yes. But I would imagine you are referring to the tenure of Dick Knight and the running of the club.

I don't think it is as bad as it seems on the surface. We have missed our first choice, but I am sure there are plenty of managers out there that are capable to teaching us how to win again.

Not really about DK......(but I,m less enthusiastic about him than most on here).

I really do think we,re in a mess.............and I,ll be happier when we,re out of it.

I was really hoping Jim Gannon would take the job, but with his refusal, quite honestly, other candidates who have been mentioned, seem to be a long way short of Gannons stature.

Remember "be careful what you wish for"? A seeming majority wished for Adams to be sacked and got what they wished for. Now we need to resolve it and we will but it was never likely to be easy or straightforward.

Jim Gannon has used us to his personal ends (a wider choice of where to move on to with no fans' backlash). Stockport will eventually get him off the payroll which they need to do. We will get someone like Boothroyd (not a bad prize at this level). We probably wouldn't look at Slade (Knight has quite a moralistic attitude and if the rumour I heard is right he wouldn't touch the guy). There may be a little delay but it will all be sorted soon enough.

Seriously, have a look through this board. Look at how the fans have treated our last few managers. We have a crap stadium, no money, are fighting hard each day just to stay alive financially, and Falmer is almost 3 years away. Who in all honesty would want to manage us?

It's not great. Real question is - what are you contributing to it? Support - by going to the watch the players and encouraging them? Or posting a load of bile and airing negative opinions all the time to help bring the club to its knees? Appears a lot of so called fans do nothing but the latter.

Did post on another thread that SCR (6.30pm news)said Booothroyd and Ince were definitely OUT of the running.

Spot on. I'm sick of so many on here and the argus constantly bleating on about McGuee, Wilkins, Adams, now the back room staff, Knight, Brown, players. Nothing has and every will be good enough. I do go to support them...yes.......and have done for quite some time.

I think a lot of people over rate a messageboard...............have a look at other teams messageboards....they're no different to ours.

2. Falmer IS happening so 3 years so what.

3. The Fans treat managers badly point..... just cause a few idiots go over board on a web forum does not mean THE FANS have treated them badly.

4. Any manager worth his salt wont give a toss what people say on this board!!!

I'm sorry but it's not just a few idiots. Withdean is a horrible place to watch a football macth now due to the large amount of abuse directed towards players, managers, directors - the c*nts behind me even have a go at the ball boys and ball girls on a regular basis. Pathetic.

Spot on. And you can add to that the fact that the average life expectancy of an Albion manager since 1997 is about a year. You'd give up unemployment for the Albion, but that's about all.

Yes it is, didn't want Mghee sacked or Wilkins sacked or Adams sacked and certainly don't want Booker or White, but until you leave the manager to manage, give him a decent amount of time and don't interfere, thats what you'll get, a mess
