I can't seem to buy any of the players in your squad lists. Do I just have to look for them on the enormous and unsearchable transfer list?

You do but time it when you are both online at the same time and the buyer can put in a bid as soon as it appears on the list.
You can find a player by altering the search ie. by age etc.

It won't let me search. I use it, and it says no players on the transfer list.
