Surely a prebooked car at around €100 one way would be easier ?This is the big issue for me. I’ve booked a flight home from Rome via Edinburgh now.

PM me!Hi there, I am on same flight from Naples. Due to get Italo train early at 6am from Rome to Naples in case there are issues ahead. Have you guys got a plan B?!
No idea, but that's what we're doing, so please.let me know if you find out.Do we know if the Italo bullet trains are impacted by strikes?
Can’t see anything online and my insane cheapest current option is Bristol to Venice and bullet train to Rome
Ha, another long-haul train traveller! No idea, but that's what we're doing, so please.let me know if you find out.
TBH depending on how Saturday pans out, (40 shots, 3 on target, losing 1-0) there's every chance I'll be looking forward to that train ride more than the game!
You can’t currently because you’re new.How do I pm you?!
We’re on the 7:40 to Naples Friday. Only plan B we can see is taxi, there are four of us so makes it a bit more bearable. If trains do go wrong I’ll drop details on here of what we do, costs etcHi there, I am on same flight from Naples. The service, which is guaranteed even in the event of a strike (potentially with a replacement bus service), runs from Roma Termini from 05:20 until 22:35, and from Fiumicino Airport from 06:08 until 23:23.Not sure if mentioned elsewhere but the Leonardo express which links Roma Termini to FCO Airport is not affected by the strike, service guaranteed

And why not? After all, it could be your best chance of seeing a striker.TBH depending on how Saturday pans out, (40 shots, 3 on target, losing 1-0) there's every chance I'll be looking forward to that train ride more than the game
you’re lucky you are flying on the 9th! I’m due out of Naples at 1145am on 8th - still trying to work out a plan b from Rome to Naples. which private buses are running ?I just saw this thread, so I'm in a bit of a panic now! Can someone fill me in on the Rome to Naples transport situation? Are there any trains running? Google says there are private buses running between the two cities on the 8th but I wonder if I can trust they'll turn up. Luckily, I am flying out of Naples on the 9th, but I was planning on going there for a Napoli v Torino match. Any help would be greatly appreciated NSC
