If it's still there, the little place in Spring Street just off Western Road was always quality food in a cosy personal environment - forget the name of it now - someone on here is bound to know.

Despite their Albion links, avoid Donatello's! poor food and service last 2 times ive been (but its cheap!)

FACT!

It's a mecca for hen & stag parties & big groups of teenagers, so tends to be a bit of a bun-fight...

I haven't been back for years, but I used to like Piccolo's - probably because the Mrs at the time knew the owner & we were served like royalty! :smile:

Casalingo's in Preston st. I know it's preston st but give it a chane, it's awsome. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for. No pizza on the menu which is a good sign.
