Good Signing. Tall and will score goals.
Who cares if he's a Reading Player. So was Rougier and he did alright last season (and Henderson is a better player)

Presumably the month "option" is to see how he gets on.

If he links up well with Knight, SC will hopefully sign them up for the season (or more).

With Dean Blackwell sidelined, we can't afford any more Kitsons!

(or Butters)

The other thread on Henderson on this board quoted quoted a Reading source as saying
"provision could be made for the one-month deal to be extended depending on how he fares. There will be no option for Reading to recall him during the first month."
Looks like no hope of signing him permanantly but maybe for the season, or at least 3 months?

Yes Henderson's quality has been the best player in Reading's pre season by a mile aparantly. This is why I think it is odd that he's been loaned out to us.

..don't like the idea of 2 loan strikers but beggar's can't be choosers I suppose.

Cashback. Good to see us draft in another striker.

Is this the player that Coppell referred to in yesterdays Argus? Have Reading signed anyone?

Delighted with the signing, Im sure it will be extended if he does ok.
We now have the 2 decent strikers we are after, even if none of them are ours.

Happy days are here again.

Roberts
Watson
Mayo
Cullip
Hinshelwood/Pethick
Jones
Carpenter
Rodger
Hart
Henderson
Knight

Looks like a damn good side to me.

I can't see Pardew wanting him back after a month. I reckon that will be extended (injuries permitting)

We had Rougier for a month and he made a big difference.

Reading see him as a very bright prospect and certainly won't be selling him.:nono: ???

How long is his contract with Reading? Could this be another Zamora scenario, player hasn't a chance of getting in the team and would take a drop in divisions to make a name for himself so makes it clear he won't sign a new contract. His club are then obliged to get shot of him:clap:

Happy that Henderson is joining. With Coppell bringing in the right players I can now see us finishing in the top 6.

Good stuff Albion.
