Out of interest, why does that attract so much anger, bitterness, blatant lying and debate?
How many murders were there in Brighton yesterday? In Sussex? In London? In the UK? Yet ONE person killed in France has four pages within an hour.

Because this murder in France is an attack, along with many others, on our way of life, on our freedom. Every day murders, such as the bloke found not guilty yesterday due to being insane, don't threaten our very beliefs. The Muslim community seem incapable ( or unwilling ) to deal with the nutters in their community. You only need to see the family members complaining in the press that somehow it was MI6's fault that their deluded murderous relatives weren't stopped from getting to IS. They don't seem to get or care that the first responsibility lies with THEM to stop these maniacs. Until they do they are likely to all get tarred with the same brush. When was the last time you saw an attack in Europe by the Jews, Buddhists, Sikhs etc etc - nope, ALWAYS Muslim.

The suicide bombing of a Shiite Mosque in Kuwait today underlines why the Grenoble attack has more relevance than the disgusting thick-head attacking the innocent man "in revenge" for Lee Rigby or the barbaric episode in Charleston. Of course we must be on the look out for white extremists but their numbers are miniscule (particularly in GB) compared to the massive threat of ISIS and its sympathisers.

I always groan when I hear of such events. Firstly because of those who have suffered, and secondly because it means endless streams of vitriol and ignorant prejudice against many folk who had nothing to do with it.

There are dreadful things happening everyday in the world. Genocidal acts, and terrible oppression. It seems that events such as these are the catalyst for most attention. Shame.

RIP The murdered individual, and I hope the people responsible die by a similar sword.

French factory attack: suspect killed and arrests made

According to the Dauphiné Libéré newspaper a second suspect has been arrested, at his home in Saint-Quentin-Fallavier.

He is believed to be a man seen driving around near the factory in a Ford car before the attack, a suspected reconnaissance attempt, the paper said.

One of the suspected attackers was arrested and named as 35-year-old Yassine Sali. He was known to the security forces over suspected links to to a Salifist group, but has no criminal record.

The other attacker was killed by a firefighter in the incident, according to France’s interior minister.
