A whirlwind couple of days means today is the first day for us to properly chill a bit, whilst for many this is a regular day with many places of work back to normal.

Are you clinging onto the Christmas spirit still, or has it come and gone and life is back to normal?

After two days working, finally a long weekend off before the melee of working NY.
Have the christmas spirit, but lost in the world of shift work unfortunately.
Looking forward to 2020 with a new vision of gusto :D

Sitting in the office today confirms that no, no it is not.

Haven’t even come close to having a Christmas yet. Working a six day stretch over the entire period. The in-laws are staying over. Manky Boxing Day defeat. Bah, humbug!

No worries. Come New Year, I party!

Certainly seemed Santa couldn't be arsed this year. I specifically asked him for a new Brighton shirt, which I wanted to wear to Spurs yesterday, but he didn't deliver it until I got home from the match yesterday

Still Xmas until Jan 1st for me.

I'd extend it to 12th night.

I've had to work Christmas eve till past 11 pm, and Boxing day from 10.00 am when I was young and hard up so, now I don't have to do that, I milk it.

I do find it odd that people put the deccies up in November yet take them down the day after Boxing day. If it weren't for expectations in my family I'd put the deccies up Christmas eve but keep them up till 12th night.

But it's all good

West is BEST
Was working nights all Christmas and back in on NYE so have four days to make something of a Christmas. Out for a few meals with friends, visiting folks and couple of trips to the pub to catch up with people.
Quite nice doing Christmassy things once all the hullabaloo has calmed down.
I’m off to Brighton to buy socks and contact lens solution. I don’t think it gets more festive than that .
