Had a new kiddie start at work, about 19 ish, and I noticed every day his trousers are elasticated at the bottom. I'm 32 and wouldn't be seen dead looking like that. Is he highly fashionable or does he have a lot of 'accidents' ?

I believe they are either called carrot cut or carrot leg. They were orginally a BMX/Skater trouser thing so the bottoms did not FLAP about in the way but have made there way into mainstream fashion innit.

My son is 17 fortunately hasn't got a pair of these but has a couple of pairs of arc leg jeans - when I hang them over the the door to dry oron the line they look like he has grown up with rickets!!!!!!

Weird - trouble is he thinks he looks trendy, fashionable and cool - we probably wore something equally as stupid when growing up - its only when you actually grow up you realise what a cock you actually looked!!!
