The local car park is nearly full with everyone pushing for spaces, and I pull into a bay at a slight angle but within all the lines. A car makes a real song and dance reversing into the bay beside me, so our drivers doors are alongside each other.
I get out to shop, and am very careful not to bash his door with mine. I smiled and to make conversation remarked that the parking spaces were a bit tight.
He said "Well if you parked properly we'd be OK"
I replied "I got out my door OK, if you weren't so fat you wouldn't have a problem.
He scowled. I called him a miserable old bastard, and he drove off.
Now I am just in my sixties and he was about the same age.
Is this sort of behaviour all a bit undignified?
