I'm a real ol' boy Medway. 61 years of grieving over the stripes. However, the question was serious. Is there any sort of get together on the rail trips...or is it just a get together of mates?I love a thread which reminds me of the 1970's.
I thought the last one to be organised was for the Bristol City game, twelve days ago.I think the last time the club organised a special train to a match was the play off final vs Bristol City in Cardiff in 2004?
Please don't bring back the seagull special, it broke down too often!!!!! Will never forget the Forest 5th round tie. Well I wouldn't would, I spent the evening at Kettering station!!!

There are a couple of extra trains (from both directions) that serve Falmer on matchdays only. If it wasn't for the Albion, they wouldn't run.Did the Albion organise it ? or was it a scheduled service.
The Southern site just shows the standard Saturday service of four trains an hour calling at Falmer, dropping to three trains an hour back to Brighton, after 8pm. The Club's website refers to trains running "as normal" (and I'm not sure what that means). Will there be the extra ones running on Sat LB?
They aren't showing up on the National Rail website. Am very much hoping they are or it could be chaos!
Excellent news.Usual additions running at xx02 to Falmer and returns as per normal matchday
But did it stop at interim stations outside of Sussex? Was it Albion fans only? Did it have a big fat steward with a booming voice who bore a passing resemblance to Stavros from Kojak constantly walking up and down and trying desperately to enforce the 'no alcohol' rule? Unless the answer to those questions are No, Yes and Yes then was NOT a special train in the true sense, merely an additional one.I thought the last one to be organised was for the Bristol City game, twelve days ago.
