Albion haven't beaten Palace at the Amex since December 2018.

It's due...
That's the logic West Ham were using a couple of weeks ago.

So is a cataclysmic asteroid strike
And it would be just our luck that, when we're winning 4-0 with the game entering added time, that cataclysmic asteroid strike happens, causing the game to be abandoned due to the complete destruction of planet earth.

This whole thread is just one big coping mechanism.
It’s like the old Sussex cricket threads when despite us playing down our chances against the likes of the all powerful and mighty counties of Lancashire and Surrey, deep down we knew we had a chance of sneaking a draw or maybe a win.

Here we know that no matter where both sides are going into the game or what happens in the 90 minutes, the absolute best we can hope for is a 0.0 or 1.1 but deep down, we know it finishes 0.1.

The last time there was a so obviously 1 sided game I took my son to see a massive Brighton win.
Got tickets as close to the pitch as I could so he could see his heroes close up.
I was going to get massive father brownie points.

we lost 0-3 to Burnley..............

tomorrow has similar echoes

Me and my son have season tickets.

He has been at uni this season, meaning his little sister has been going to games instead.

She has now got a job working on match days at the Amex, meaning my wife has been going.

Now, my son is back for one week only to reclaim his seat.

They have to do it for him, if nothing else.

Haven't put a bet on for 5-6 years but very tempted by a tenner on 1-0 to Palace at 14-1 to mitigate the inevitable
If you do we'll only go and lose 2-1 instead. After being 1-0 down for 89 minutes.

And neither of their goals will come from a palace shot on target so they can go four games without a shot on target and still get the win.

We all know what's coming but it won't make it any easier when it does.

I think a Zaha goal (probably a penalty) and a card for him too is a decent bet.

As there is likely to be dampness in the air it is highly likely that their pyrotechnics won't work as well. Thrown by the inability of the ultras to strike a match their team will fall apart.

Some idiot in the north stand will probably utter something in frustration at that moment and they'll be printing t-shirts quoting it forever more too, knowing them.
