Is there a competition to see how bad someone can referee at Withers?

That was just awful. And the linos between them were just simply awful too. Surely something has to be done about it. I'm not taking anything away from an awful performance but they were just dreadful. Have I said the word "awful" enough yet?

And a big Simpsons-stylee "HA HA!" to the fat Crewe muppet who got off the bus outside Somerfield in London Road and waited until the bus had set off before giving it the big one.

Got told by my youngest to "Shut up, fatty". Shut you up good and proper.

The elbow on McNulty that didn't even result in a free kick right in front of the lino was a disgrace

The decision for their penalty was shockingly poor, Davies controlled it on his chest yet the linesman gave it as handball, and as already meantioned, the elbow on McNulty which went unpunished (as did several other examples of their players leading with the elbow in challenges)

To be fair, the referee didn't get much wrong, the sad thing is we kept doing stupid things again. The penalty was a stick on, it hit his hand in front of the linesman, that's a penalty. The elbow on McNulty wasn't deliberate, he was trying to get the ball, nothing malicious, that guy was all arms and legs anyway.

I'm disappointed at how daft our players are at times, they earn every card they get. McNulty deserved his yellow for his petulance imo, I love McNulty, but it doesn't mean he can do no wrong.

Blatent handball for the penalty. Didn't agree with all the decisions but overall he was pretty good. No complaints about him from me

The penalty was very harsh. The balls bounced up into him. Then their guy has swung his arm round into McNulty's face and got away with it. McNulty's yellow for chucking the ball down was silly but to give the throw in to them was a terrible decision.

The disgusting excuse of a linesman should be ashamed of himself. Virgo has afive match ban for handbags and yet the guy nearly takes McNulty's head off and gets nothing. Wankers.

Don't feel the need to comment on this particular ref, he was no better or worse than any other these last few years ( most of them have been pretty shit though) but I do think the standard of official is falling very quickly & that is more likely to be down to the fact that the rules no longer seem to be set in stone but are applied according to each & every refs personal interpretation, that & the constant changing of rules just leaves most of us baffled.

The elbow on Whing in the first half was horrible, can't believe their left winger only got a booking for it.

Couldn't see the pen from where I was but the certainly wasn't the worst ref we've had down here this season.

Me and my friend said we could ref better. We honestly don't no how they are that bad. It is just common sense. For mcnulty's yellow you could see that no crewe player appealed when jimmy got the ball and everyone was acting like it was a Brighton throw.
