I think as a percentage of their normal home attendance it was certainly decentTalking of away support, Bournemouth's was very decent considering it was on telly and they are 100 miles away.

We were just approaching the airport roundabout as they were shutting it. Our driver (from Mum's care home, in Lancing) swung left, and took us on a nifty route through service roads in the airport, emerging on the coast road. We dropped Mum off, jumped into my car, and re-joined a totally deserted A27 at Lancing Manor!Bet you really appreciated the unexpected (as in, no warning signs) closure of the A27 at Lancing last night - especially the way that they let you get to the new roundabout before making you double back to flyover.
I did 60 miles yesterday after arriving back from the states with about 2 hours sleep. Great getting down , but didn't get back until after midnight as I stayed until the end....
Not too bad for you then - don't think our coach would have made it through the little tunnel under the railway if we tried that route! We were just approaching the airport roundabout as they were shutting it. Think you missed the point.Well quite. We set off at 3.30pm, and we live 45 minutes along the route they'd have to drive. It is a shit journey.
(At least they only have to do it once a year, rather than every other week!)

I did about 70% of the journey they would have had yesterday.100 miles is definitely not nothing with our shower of shite roads and trains
I was caught with having to turn back from the airport roundabout too! I was jolly cross!!!We were just approaching the airport roundabout as they were shutting it. AKA 'Bollocks to that' syndrome.I did about 70% of the journey they would have had yesterday.
Brighton bound I left home at about 3.15. Took a good two hours to get to Mill Road, including one short comfort break. The worst parts of the journey were Sussex, as you could guess particularly Chichester, Arundel and - worst of all - Worthing.
for the return i left on about 90+4, and got on a bus fairly quickly, within 10 minutes of the final whistle, I would think. When I got back to the car the eta on the Satnav was 11.27. That was soon stymied by a big diversion off at Shoreham down to the coast road all through Lancing until Worthing, where it went up past Waitrose and Broadwater Green to rejoin the A27 at Warren Road. It added about 15 minutes to the journey.
i would think the remainder of their journey on Motorway and dual carriageway through the forest would probably have been straightforward.
i have in the past have had some very uncomfortable waits for P&R buses, particularly last season for whichever European match it was where it was torrential rain and I realised my supposedly waterproof coat was not waterproof! I’m 71, so a spirit of self-preservation comes into play, a la @Harry Wilson's tackle !
*cough* of *cough*Leeds would have taken more.
Not harsh, it’s one of their closer games as well.Harsh. It is 100 miles (and that route is shite with hardly any motorway) for a televised early evening kick off - and they returned one block.
Fulham took a LOT less to Wolves.
Absolutely this, and the Europa game was AEK because I was so wet through due to the torrents waiting for the P&R after that I had to make a similar drive home in my pants and bare feet! I'll leave you with that very powerful image...I did about 70% of the journey they would have had yesterday.

I know it’s quicker to get home from St Mary’s to portslade, than from the Amex to portsladeYou'll never understand because you live close by, but for anyone travelling more than 10miles has to allow for a 3 day round trip / it's possible to get to continental capitals quicker than the Amex sometimes!![]()
Perhaps we could build a smaller lego stand mk2 in the South stand specially for fulham so they don't get too lonely.
