Deep Purple - Made in Japan, absolute classic album, it was recorded during their world tour for the Machine Head albums release, the same tour when I saw them play at the Dome (1972 I think).

Both Cash 'prison' long players are quality. Ramones It's Alive is brilliant as well. As an aside it is a great album to run to......I'm like Billy Whizz when on the Ramones.

Cheap Trick Live at The Budokan is a great live album as well. Queen Live Killers.

One of the joys of vinyl is the gate-fold sleeve double live album. Live double CDs are just not the same.

I'm a big fan of Nirvana unplugged in new york-a brilliant live performance. Also, whilst it's not an album (as far as I'm aware) the recording of Otis Reading at the Monteray festival is absolutely aweinspiring, IMHO.
