Is Joel Lynch a bit injury prone?

Is it my imagination or does young Joel seem to pick up more than an average number of niggly injuries? It seems every week there are scares about him or he is substituted "just as a precaution".

He is young, probably still growing, and being asked to play a lot of games in a position which probably involves the most physical contact etc.

I think it is obvious he will pick up the odd knock.

Welcome to the professional game Joel.

If you can't take the knocks mate, you shouldn't be out there.

I think the point being made is that he never seems all that keen to run the knocks off, preferring to take the easy option of an early bath.

Didn't seem to do that last night.

he got KILLED last night, tried to run it off, then when he had that scorching volley seemed to do even more damage

taking him off was the right decision, rather have him for the relegation 6 pointer on saturday

I agree. It was a nasty clash with both players injured. Joel stayed on until half time and apparently his knee swelled a lot(match report). It may not have even been his decision to have been subbed.
