If so i fully expect, even demand that we sign no one - why wste the cash when we are unlikely to improve the squad, If need be take the hit of relegation and work towards Falmer - why throw good cash after bad on yet another poor, expensive injury prone signing.

...because a couple of signings will give us hope that we might make the play-offs again, next season of course, and that we might actually start playing at Falmer as a Championship side.

Will it still be called the Championship in 15 years?

Fair point, probably not, it will be something like the Reserve Premier Division, or if I had my way...Division 2.

There should be 5. Premiership, Championship, League 1, League 2 north and league 2 south.

How are we unlikely to improve the squad? We need to start bulding for next season. We cant do that with loans.

Just let it pass... Every year without fail for the last three years or so it has been one huge disappointment, nothing happenes until near enough the last minute when a 1 month desperation loan will be made to try and divert the flak rather than for his footballing ability, just let it go...
