how can u deny he wouldnt do a job?!

I'm not denying he wouldn't do a job. That's exactly what I'm saying. He wouldn't do a job.

I'm saying it because I went to both Gillingham and Stoke last season, and he put in two of the worst performances I have ever seen, by anybody, anywhere. Were you there? If so, how can you deny it?

I'd rather save the money and find someone else, even if it takes a few months to find the right man.

After tonights showing I would go for McPhee over Rougier, Mcphee can do as good a job as Rougier would.

SPend the money elsewhere I say, and SC knows it.

I wish poeple would give up this ROugier crusade and move on.

Spend the money to keep Knight?

hmmm

im not saying he is quality and i saw him at stoke, including the funniest attempted header ive ever seen.

what im saying is....

knight obviuolsy has a bit about him but will get beaten up in div 2.

rouge would be the perfect foil for little leon and literally act asa human battering ram and wall.

Coppell has said he'll only spend money if he thinks the guy is the best he can get - or words to that effect. I think he, like us, likes Rougier but feels he would rather spend the cash elsewhere. If we get Andrei that'll cost I guess 2k a week in wages. Then we could only afford 2k a week on any new players - 1 or 2. McPhee looks like he can hold up the ball well and score goals. He's promising. If he doesn't perform though I think SC will have to act.

i am 100% for playing mcphee. i rated him in div 2 2 years ago. if he had scored against bournemouth and not been slayed down by their goalie i reckon he would have kicked on.

but, i feel we lack presence throughout the whole team. rougier gives a team bulk. simple as that.

Get in Rougier for his comedy value. Whilst the opposition defences are laughing at his lumbering clumsiness Knight nips in to score.

Spot on CAFC. It looks like Knight can actually fill BZ's scoring boots. We HAVE to keep this guy on after the initial 2 months.

As for Rougier, I'd have him as a squad player but reckon he'd be too expensive for that luxury. Great to have around the team (like Charlie) but not quite good enough IMHO (still a legend though)

I was at both and can say that nobody played well at Gillingham or Stoke, we played crap both games, highlighting Rougier is unfair.

I think Rouge would be a right handful for second division defenders and if his job is just to take some pressure off of Knight so that he can play his own game then i'm happy.

NO :nono:
NO :nono:

A THOUSAND TIMES NO! :nono:

He would be a financial millstone around our necks after his comedy value wears thin and all of you lot clamouring for SC to sign him will be yelling for him to be shipped out.

Rougier is a donkey-if he was/is so damn good, how come Reading are still stuck with him? Available on a free but no takers despite a fair bit of publicity when with us?

Everybody knows he's a donkey-except Pardew who gave him a contract..
