depends if you support a team who regularily appear in the CL.

If I was a Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea or Manu fan, do you think I would give a toss about how a small seaside town football team felt about me?

Hard to say.

I would like to think there are some old-fashioned decent football fans supporting those clubs who remember and appreciate the industry and the game of football being played with a more level playing field - so to speak, and that a spirit of 'Fans United' can prevail.

Sadly, I suspect that generation is dying out, and the new 'Here & Now, Now, Now' generation has taken over.

Perhaps I'm asking too much of some people, but it sickens me to think that those new fans appear to have won.

As I get older, and my fellings for BHA wane, whereas I used to look in horror at mates who would invite me to go to watch other clubs in London ( for example) ....now I am quite happy to take them up on the offer.

Two, you evidently have an inside track on the Falmer financing. Why do we need a multi-millionaire just to survive?

There's absolutely NO chance of Dick Knight resigning the chairmanship of the club before Falmer is complete, Thats his baby and he will stick with it through thick & thin. With my specs on yes we can fill it every match.
With reality it is my opinion that we will only now have a 10,000 max hard core ( iam not saying we won't get a few sell outs )when getting to Falmer that will dwindle as we get used to going there.
For us to get a near capacity we will need to sustain a winning side year upon year with investment we will stand a far better chance ie Portsmouth - or a inconsistent performance ie Southampton is a situation we could be looking at.

Yes i hate to say we will be f***ed unless we can still make big money on players brought through the youth system, what Knight has survived on thus far but without the huge investment gate receipts will have to be at a regular sell out surely for any chance of survival.

Why i bought Wilkins in to the question was i felt Dick played the blinder in getting Wilkins in for what better way to take us forward with a great young coach. It worked for Charlton and i see no reason why it would not have worked for the Albion and we were starting to see the benefits.

1. How come we are £15million in the red if making big money through the youth system is what has caused DK to survive thus far?

That sums up exactly how I feel-it's a shame some of the f***wits on here don't share our feelings. Without DK there would be no Albion-without him there'd be no club for the morons on here to bitch about.

Dick Knight, he's nowhere near perfect, nowhere near, he does what we all do-fucks up now and again but thankfully he was there when nobody else gave a shit about BHAFC. For that alone he deserves respect and deserves to lead the side out at Falmer. Anybody failing to see that isn't in touch with reality.
