I'm in the situation of hoping that my team, Harlequins, lose to Northampton this weekend thus ensuring a Saturday Play-Off semi final to ensure I can see Brighton on the Sunday if needs be. If Albion had already secured 4th place I was going to sell my Wolves ticket and watch Quins as I orginally wanted them to win and get 3rd not 4th thus ensuring a Sunday match at Leicester not a Saturday one at Saracens, but now it's all up in the air. Confused, yeah so am I, and really pi**ed off. It's all f***ing Crystal Palace's fault.

Oh, and I have to pre-book my work hours for the week after next this Tuesday. I'm only allowed one evening off......

If its Palace only sell tickets to the existing home databases and no away tickets at all. We would frighten Palace with a 100% home Amex crowd!

The fact there is at least one scenario that can mean a change to the provisional dates, and there is no official word on that, is quite naughty I think.

The club are already heavily pushing for people to buy tickets before there is a definite schedule, and we all know that they'll be ramping that up this week.

I really think they should put all information out there so people can make a fully informed choice about committing. Most people will go regardless, I appreciate that, but some won't be able to.

Don't forget that Palace play Millwall on Tuesday, so we may know that its them in the semi's if they win. So it just be final day to decided who has the home leg second (finishing 4th). So we might hear something before the Wolves game if thats the case.

Not sure why they have to rush through with these matches. If I ran the Football League this is how it would pan out:

1st leg (match A) - Saturday 11th May 2013, kick-off 3.00pm
1st leg (match B) - Sunday 12th May 2013, kick-off 3.00pm

2nd leg (match A) - Saturday 18th May 2013, kick-off 3.00pm
2nd leg (match B) - Sunday 19th May 2013, kick-off 3.00pm

The Final would still take place at Wembley on Monday 27th May 2013, with a 3pm kick-off.

Surely the club and the police will request the Sunday lunchtime slot if we're at home to Palace in the second leg. This season's fixtures was properly policed and all went well, so surely they'll want to do the same. That Sunday fixture gives the police all afternoon to load the away fans onto their special train home... holding them back, then escorting them onto a special train worked really well. Whereas for a Monday night fixture... time is a bit tighter, especially if it goes to extra time and penalties.

If that were the case then they would not be listed as A and B on the official League website, they would just have 3rd v 6th and 4th v 5th. Clearly it isn't a done deal as they have left it uncertain.
