Is it me, or is the co-commentator (Le-Saux i think) actually talking some sense? This friendly is shite and he seems willing to slag off all these crap subs from Sven.

Take a look at the stats - about 90% of England friendlies are crap.

The most amazing thing is that people are interested in them - that wasn't the case 10-15 years ago when Wembley would often be a third full.

Wise words Wozza. Gates of 26,000 not uncommon at Wembley for these GASH occasions.

Don't worry, we'll soon see that again once the novelty of a rebuilt Wembley has worn off.

When you don't have sky and the only chance of watching international footie on the TV is via friendlies from BBC it's a little difficult not to be interested.

Utterly awful - no-one could be bothered to run into space, so there are no options in midfield to pass to. Resulting in a few passes across the back four, player looks up, no-one on, so launches it, we lose it, and don't see it for another few minutes. Class.

NEVER watch England friendlies. What's the point?

I watched "Sunset Boulevard" - which I got out through the WH Smith DVD rental service.

£9.99 a month. You create a list of DVDs you want to see (they've got 1000s including a lot of art house/foreign/classic films you won't find in your local video rental store). They send you the first one on your list. You watch it, stick it in postbox in prepaid envelope. They send you the next one. FILMTASTIC!
