I think people should be allowed to support/follow/take interest in (delete as applicable) whoever they like, personally.

Following another team doesn't make anyone any less of an Albion fan.

I follow another team, yet I still have an Albion tattoo on my shoulder, for example.

About 15 years ago i used to rather like Charlotte Hornets. The great days of Alonzo Mourning and the pocket-sized Muggsy Bogues. But that died when my Sky access did. Passionate times though.

The Hornets now play in New Orleans

I know. :(
I liked Charlotte despite not knowing whether it was a place, a woman or just some spider on the prowl.

Slightly different to a MK Donnas type tale though. Not because Charlotte weren't allowed to build a new arena on their land/body/webbing. Just thought they might be better somewhere else if the team owners had to pay for it's construction. So, off to the better-monied Orleans, and goodbye fans. So, actually, that is kind of Donnish.

It's was only ever The Albion, & NSC.
But I'm afraid my head has been turned by cycling & www.cyclingplus.co.uk

I feel so ashamed, but at least I get to see us be the best in the world.

Are you talking about NYRB? Originally the NY/NJ metrostars but bought by Red Bull. But I think they are doing a good job.

www.redbullpark.com - check this out, a quality stadium when it's done!

And no, not "only in America". Almost half the teams in Japan & Korea, and closer to home, Bayer Leverkusen and PSV Eindhoven.

I used to go and watch Rapid and Austria Wien, but the fact that I watched both just goes to prove that I couldn't get worked up about either of them. Preferred the Rapid kit though. Am now getting to see the odd Hertha match, but despite the better football on offer, the lower ticket prices (EUR 19 for a seat in the gods) and the 40,000 plus crowds, I'd still rather watch the Albion at Withdean. It's in the blood, I'm afraid.

The McDons are my 2nd team.

Which i know is seen by many on here and in general as being a shootable offence.

But hey they're my local team and something to do if i've got nothing planned on a saturday or a tuesday night.

Plus hopefully I should be able to get to go to Wembley to watch them in the play-off final if they get there, Cause theres no way they will sell 40,000 or whatever tickets.
