Ok, so why does he play well against the CZECH REPUBLIC, but like an absolute twat against MILLWALL or BOURNEMOUTH, or any other crap side we come up against? It's because he doesn't want to be here, and he hasn't since September. Even if you think he is better than Michel, and that's fine because everyone has an opinion, then I would still suggest you back the man who has a passion for playing for this club, not a stuck up Irish tosser. At the end of the day, anyone who doesn't want to play for us can go - so when the player in question isn't actually very good either, he's asking for trouble.

That's not quite right though, is it? I see your point, but surely if he is able to fit into an INTERNATIONAL set-up, he should shine when he comes back to our dross. It's never been the case though. He is hesitant, quiet, and mistake-prone - none of those things have anything to do with the defence in front of him.

The henderson period will go down in the anals on history as a poor time for the Albion.

His mere presence was like a festering sore for some. Perhaps in time the details of his arrival will come out, the deals struck the the previous manager, the behaviour and manipulating of situations in order to secure the signing and people will look at his in a balanced and unemotional way.

Not many will come out of this with any credit; be it the fans who gave him stick DURING games, the previous manager who engineered certain things around the signing, the apparent promise of first team football without any clauses relating to performance, the throwing in of two transfer requests folowing being dropped (and I'm sure some of the crowd stick relates to the initial request and manner) or indeed the players in front of him who failed to second guess whether he was going to come for balls or not.

Perhaps the nub of it is not so much that henderson could do no right, but that Kuipers could do no wrong.

The guy is an excellent keeper, IMO better than Kuipers, and is a loss to the club.

Back to the original question. No as it was more than fans that hounded him out. (And a lot of posts on this thread show the abuse he has taken) Maybe or maybe not better than Kuipers (IMO he is slightly better, but happy with Kuipers)

Exactly Dave. I watched that match from start to finish and Hendo had nothing but routine to do apart from the one shot he let in.

Harding used to, according to some, play like a world-beater for the Under-21s. Whereas he used to play repeatedly like a panicked sheep for the Albion. Even CKR seems to be just about holding his own at Sheffield United.

I guess the moral is it's relatively easy for a very ordinary player to look a cut above when he's surrounded by very good players.
