Rising Damp
I've been working abroad for 2 years on a contract, came home to Brighton last week to find that......
a) My flat has been rented out to someone who has done a runner without paying for the last 3 months and caved the kitchen wall in!
b) A load of unpaid bills by above said tennant.
c) A country that appears to have no jobs left in it anymore
Basically I came back to spend till the summer trying to find a job back here, thought I would pick something easyish up for a few months temp like for a bit of spending, and it seems an absolute nightmare. Spent a depressing couple of days last week touring the agencies to be faced with a pretty depressing reality in that there seems very little around. Its not that I am fussy either, just a bit of cash till I fix something up, seems relatively grim.
Anyway, if anyone can point me in the right direction let me know, at least in the 2 years I have been away BEER seems cheaper, the Albion are STILL in crisis, and NSC doesnt seem to have changed one bit.
