Our signings, especially the much needed pace up front and goals, were always going to be the key to the season. Should the season never really take off, that transfer business within our club set up, cannot be held against CH.

But every other club would be far more mercenary in sacking the fall guy. Look at Leicester. The finances from staying in the PL mean everything to a club with a huge cost base.
