Barry lloyd is getting closer to the managers job.
His scouting has brought us all these players(who he rates highly)

He was the man who has finally got through to the chairman that these kids just are not good enough

Hammond gone Robinson would have gone(deal could not be done)
revell gone Cox(was wanted but dick said no)
Elder gone El-Abd(Gillingham..no deal could be done)
Gatting going
Rents going

And these are highly rated
Elphick(villa,derby,birmingham and everton interested..no bids)
Lynch(Norwich,W.B.A,derby,middlesboro and leeds)
Fraser(no bids or interest but with work will be top draw)

Also..we were close to signing a palace kid and another from sheff utd.loan wages could not be agreed

Thats his job, he goes and looks at players and recommends who we should consider signing based on what he's seen. What scout is going to recommend a player he doesn't rate?

I think wilkins deserves to stay but i fear he will not be taking pre season training in june
