I seem to remember that the last few friendlies have been met with disdain because people thought they were prety pointless. Tonights should be different, we are going into it with a very near full strength side which is starting to gel and could go on to be the best side we've had for 20 odd years. Personally I'm looking forward to it emmensely, especially if Reyes gets kicked about by the United players after moaning about theteatment he got atOld Trafford.

Bridge should play on the left in front of Ashley Cole. Terry and Ferdinand will play at the back.

I'm looking forward to it as well. Even though it is only a friendly, Spain v England at the Bernabeu is a very tasty fixture. Maximum of 6 substitutions, so it shouldn't get TOO farcicle even for Sven.

I'm also looking forward to spending all night down the Cricks, as the kickoff isn't till 8.45. And I'm looking forward to winning some hard CASH.

Owen 1-1 is 35/1. I also fancy a bit of the HT/FT's, specially with the 2nd half changes coming in. 33/1 for England to win from a HT deficit, 28/1 for Spain to do the same.

Should be a top night.

Nah - can't get too excited about friendlies - Especially when they're on the BBC as I instantly lose my excuse to go down the pub!

I am looking forward to it purely because it is an excuse to drink £1 pints from 7:00.

No really I'm sad to say. I can never get that worked up about friendlies (for club or country) regardless of the opposition. Glad we're playing Spain though and not some useless third-world team who can barely kick a ball (Sorry Digweed's Trousers).

Plus Becks and Owen are playing on home turf and it's another chance to see Wright Phillips playing in the kind of places he deserves.

That boy really has to leave Man City soon.

Frankly I'm not in the slightest bit arsed about this game, the Spanish couldn't give a toss either, said on the radio that there may only be around 25,000 in the stadium tonight, 5,000 of which will be England fans.

Don't get excited about England games ( friendly or cup tie) the way I do about Albion games...

I cannot think of anything worse than seeing England play live either. The last time I saw them live was in the early 80's when our own Steve Foster played !!!!

I will definitely watch it, there are a few players tonight with points to prove, also the pre-match antagonism should ensure things are a bit tastier than your average friendly.

As for a result, I am going for an England win by 2 goals to 1.

I cannot in the slighest bit get excited about friendlies anymore. Although there doesn't seem to be anything more interesting on TV tonight so I'll probably end up watching it and facing the battle to keep my eyes open until full time.
