Done so many league predictors, been harsh on us, good for the others done it the other way round, and not one of the chasing pack get too 86 points so yes I am confident and going to enjoy the ride.

When the team follow the manager's credo, we achieve great things.

One game at a time
Focus on what's in front of you
Don't get too high or to low about anything

Rinse and repeat.

The last three games have been perfect examples of this.

Now we have no pressure on us at all.
It should be easier to follow the principles that have led us here.

The pressure is all on Huddersfield now.

If we do get complacent and make a balls up of one game, Chris will just remind every team member about what has made us successful.

One game at a time
Focus on what's in front of you
Don't get too high or to low about anything

It works.

We won't balls this up.. We have the perfect man in charge for this moment and this situation
Huddersfield don't.

We normally do well at Leeds and lost.
We normally do well at Forest and lost.
We normally do badly at Sheffield Wednesday and won.
We normally do badly at Barnsley and won.
We normally do badly at QPR and won.

I wouldnt agree with that as I cannot remember as many wins at Forest as at Wolves. The stats may prove me wrong.

Brighton / Hove actually
If we don't go up then this will be the biggest failure in the clubs history, Hughton will deserve the boot and the players won't be worth holding on to. Even if Hudd's hit good form and average 2 points a game they couldn't catch us and if they tried to they would surely burn themselves out for the 3 games in the playoffs.

Indeed. I watched Forest run them ragged last week, they looked jaded to me. Energy wise, there was only one side in it.

We have Wigan and Bristol City to play.
Huddersfield are off-colour and off-form.
We've been home for a few weeks now.

Look at this from the perspective of a Terrier.

If I was a Huddersfield fan, I'd be certain that the Albion had the capability of getting 6 points from 5 games, which would be enough to guarantee that the best that Huddersfield could achieve would be the playoffs (once goal difference is taken into account).

6 points from 5 games is 1.2 points per game, which is what a team needs to finish about 19th in the table. Any Huddersfield fan would expect the Albion to perform better than Ipswich Town.

And what fan of any team can be confident that their team will win 6 games on the trot? If Huddersfield can only manage 16 points from their last 6 games, all the Albion will need is 4 points from 5 games. That's relegation form and every Huddersfield fan must be expecting the Albion to do better than that.

Going to continue using the 'IF' word until I don't have to anymore. All sensible fans would do well to do likewise. Very much doubt CH will even go THAT far.

The mantra is: ONE. GAME. AT. A. TIME.

A mindset which appears to be trickling down to the players, at least publicly, to the benefit of all concerned.

What an absolute top man CH is!

I get caught up in the euphoria, then do the maths and realise we could finish 5th. Terrible moment endures and I get through it. Will be delighted when it is certain though, and hope the players still realise it isn't beach time!

We haven't won at Wolves for 26 years.
We'd NEVER won at Hillsborough before this season.

Spoke to a Wednesday (LOL) season ticket holder the other day who said the only team he'd seen this season that had "properly turned them over" was Brighton.

That game was when I started to believe.

If 2+ of the following 4 results happen we'll be promoted at Easter ( * see caveat below )

- Preston win at Huddersfield
- Derby win at home to Huddersfield
- Albion win at Wolves
- Albion win vs Wigan

( * If it is the top 2 results that come in, and albion lose twice, we also rely on Leeds not beating Newcastle and Reading losing to Villa. )

If Preston and Albion both draw on Good Friday, all we need is 1 of the Easter Monday games to come in.

From the above I cannot see anything other than an Easter promotion for Albion.
