I saw Iron Maiden at the old Top Rank Suite I think it was....very good but a trifle loud. I also saw AC/DC at the centre and I still don't get it.. and yes, that was with Bon Scott.. sorry prefer slightly more melodic music...

Can we call Thin Lizzy heavy metal ?.. saw them twice and they were 10 X better than Maiden/DC

Thin Lizzy were the greatest Rock band to ever grace a stage at Brighton or anywhere else come to that. Saw them 3 times at the Centre with Lynoot, downey, Scott Gorham, Gary Moore, now thats a line up. Tragic Phil passed away at 34, who knows what great music they had ahead of them.

I have scene all bar Lizzy. My favourite ever rock gig was Queen at Wembley on the Magic tour. Everything about it was big.

Maiden were top draw last night. 2 hours of hits and polystyrene monsters from 5 blokes in tight jeans.....exactly how metal should be.

It was at the Hammersmith Odeon in 1980 and the upstairs floor nearly came down, the floor was actually shaking.

Last saw Saxon a couple of years ago and Biff really should ditch the codpiece, lol.
Agree with a previous poster that the Queen live magic tour at Wembley was prob :drink:the best gig in terms of atmosphere that i've been to though any Dumpys Rusty Nuts gig is in the terms of atmosphere not to be missed.

It won't compare to Queen at Wembley but I saw Gary Mullen 'as' Queen on Thursday night and he was absolutely fantastic!! If you like Queen's music and you get the chance to see this guy do his stuff, you will definitely enjoy. It's a kind of magic!!! ???
