Welcome Mark!

Not much I can find in the way of highlights

According to SSN, we appear to have signed two players this window. Presumably this lad is one of them - but have I missed something? Who is the other?

Oh, and good luck Mark. Have you thought where you'd like to be loaned out to?

Did we not sign another Irish youngster earlier in the window too?

Buonanotte. Cheers. Didn't think of him as a January signing as he was announced back in November - but I suppose technically he couldn't be registered until 1st. January - which seems to be born out by both Wiki and Transfermarkt.

We have such a good reputation in Ireland for providing young lads with the best possible training, facilities and opportunity that I reckon we will see a steady flow of the best Irish talent come our way. Obviously it won't always work out like with for e.g. young Aaron, but at least he was given a chance. These lads who traditionally would go to Liverpool or Man U are now seeing us as a better prospect.

With respect, is there much pedigree in Ireland? I can think of maybe 3 Irish players in the last twenty years who would improve our team at their peak (Roy Keane, Evans, Robbie Keane).

Irwin and Keane would be in my best ever prem 11 from a pop of 500k in the city. I think like 14 prem leagues is decent pedigree? Damien Duff, Carr improves Brighton. I do think you have a point though. I think you would have to understand what happened internally in Irish football to realise it is now a goldmine over here.

Brightons competition is now AC Milan/Inter/B Munich/PSV. They are all here now because of BREXIT and changes to football here so you no longer have a clear run at them. Irish young players are now criminally undervalued. All our underage teams are now ranked in the top 10 in Europe again. Our front 3 in about 4 years time will probably be out of Brighton's reach. I include Evan in that. I still don't think even think Evan is our top attacking prospect. There is a lot of players coming behind him.

I do think Collins at Wolves and Kelleher at Pool improve Brighton too.

Who is your top attacking prospect and can we have him?
