Got a feeling it's going to be a bit lonely today but me and Mrs Rat makes 2

Never been to Portman Road so boozer advice appreciated. Seems like Riverside is popular away pub

Proper old fashioned ground. Beer pretty reasonable inside the stadium...wish I was going today as one of my favourite grounds with a good atmosphere.

Good place to see a decent game, and the crowd will be a bit bigger and more lively than they were pre-McCarthy.
But Portman Road is old fashioned now, with painfully narrow seating rows a and girder-restricted view at the back of the away corner. Makes you appreciate even more just how much we have at the Amex now.

See you there.

Won't be going myself but always reminds me of when I took the heavily pregnant Missus to Portman Road. We had to leave just after half time but it was a false alarm. Both teams were in the top tier then and we drew 1-1(luckily I saw the goals). My daughter is 32 now so it was a while ago.

The wife and myself will be going into the pub opposite the station, I think that is the Riverside, we went in there last year and was away fan friendly. If you are driving up, there is plenty of parking near the pub.

I'll be on the 1230 from Liverpool street arriving at 1345. Lets hope we play better in defence than last season. UTA

It's called the station hotel , thats were we all met up last year . Big beer garden out the back if weather is sunny & only 5mins walk to ground . Enjoy your day..
