Meeting a client in Smellhurst ?

There used to be a pub in the city centre in Ipswich called the Drum which lots of Albion went to, not sure if it's still open.

Appropriately named as the street is, my mate from Ipswich says this is a very popular away pub. Near to the centre of town.

WAS a very popular away pub now sadly closed down due to license problems or something as they had some female entertainment on thursday nights if I remember rightly.

It's a shame as spent many a good lunchtime in there when I worked just down the road in Ipshit, but I think the drum & monkey just over the road from the away end is back open, having been closed for quite a while
