My ipad is ridiculously slow charging since updating the other day.
Anyone else experiencing problems?
iPhone 5 is fine though

Have you tried turning it off and on again. Not messing around with that, sometimes when you update ipods/ipads the battery drains fast until you turn it off and on again.

Is it related to power drain, i.e. have you turned on reduce motion (settings > general > accessibility > reduce motion) and turned off background app refresh (settings > general > background app refresh)?

Looking around at some of the apple support forums, a few people seem to be suffering with this problem

Just done the update, only took 5 minutes on my iPhone 5. I like it, charges fine still.

I am. My iPad now takes 8 hours to charge, and about 3 hours to completely drain. My iPhone is fine.

I'm only using a few gig so I'm nowhere near capacity. So it's not that that's draining the battery. It's awful, hate it.

Anyone tried IOS7 yet on an iphone 4? Might hold off on this upgrade for a while.

Several people in the ********official iOS 7******* thread have. A couple say it is noticeably slower on the 4, others say they notice no difference in speed.

Finding my iPhone 4S charges a lot more slowly now. And drains quicker. I fiddled with something in the settings last night so hopefully that might stop it draining so fast at least.

This sounds daft, but make sure you're using your actual iPad charger and not and iPhone one if you have one.

They're different and one charges the iPad a million times slower than the other.

I turned my ipad off and then charged it til 100% without using it! overnight! and today it is retaining battery so much better. I've been using the pad all for 5 hours now and it's used 30% which is much better than yesterday! where it would be drained by now.
