That kind of message was all the rage back in the 70's and 80's. I remember that Burnley once had a message painted outside their away end which read:

"Welcome to Turf Moor. Enjoy the game. It'll be your last."

Again in the 70s/80s scrawled on the wall of a bridge by Coulsdon South Railway Station was the message "TURN BACK MEN OF BRIGHTON OR DIE!"

Can't say anyone took any notice of it!:lol:

The last time I went to Spurs (third round of the cup last season) it was policed in the normal Met manner. Loads of them, horses, combat gear etc.

And just to add to the fun my mobile started playing GOSBTS while we walking away from WHL, just behind what seemed to pass for the Croychav firm. :D
