Probably Firefox. I changed about 6 month ago when it started doing stuff like this. Not as good as it first was!

Just downloaded Firefox and same issues......sounds like its Tiscali then...

I switched from Tiscali to TalkTalk (who now own Tiscali ) 18 months ago and can remember that the messages you are getting just basically means there are technical issues with Tiscali.

I think sadly Firefox might be the answer..

Firefox wees all over IE but Chrome is faster. IE 6, 7 & 8 are underwear.

It was Tiscali - today I'm sweet as a nut, Arthur can sail his boat round the estuary of the sewage pond....

(Although I'm now on Firefox anyhow )

Eventually you will be migrated over to TalkTalk and problems with Tiscali will be a thing of the past. I use IE8 and even on Windows 7 it still drops out or doesn't respond which doesn't happen with Firefox.

All fixed? if it reoccurs try alternative DNS server settings. Can get them for any ISP and they should all allow traffic from any client - PlusNet is 212.159.13.49 & 212.159.13.50.

Firefox is now running the latest version as 3.5.5 and also a beta version which is 3.6b2
