Small guide to what I believe to be interesting and realistic targets. I'm sure people could add another few interesting players.
Premier League
Per usual not going to buy much from PL clubs. The KDH attempt was a bit of an exception. Most interesting category of players are players in their early 20s stuck in teams where they'll probably never get the chance. And Levi, of course.
City and Chelsea are dominating this list. No Arsenal players as they can't really sell English players without replacing them with other English ones, and they'll struggle to find the quality of Smith Rowe, Nketiah and so forth at reasonable value.
As for potential targets for the U21 squad, there's just too many so we'll just stick with potential first team signings here.
Interesting defenders
Levi Colwill, 21, Chelsea, LCB/LB
Bashir Humphreys, 21, Chelsea, LCB/LB
Alfie Gilchrist, 20, Chelsea, CB/RB
Joe Rodon, 26, Tottenham, CB
Owen Beck, 21, Liverpool, LB
Interesting midfielders
Cesare Casadei, 21, Chelsea, DMC/MC/AMC
Alex Robertson, 21, Manchester City, DMC/CM
James McAtee, 21, Manchester City, MC/AMC (also able to play on the wing)
Interesting wingers
Omari Hutchinson, 21, Chelsea
Amad Diallo, 21, Manchester United
Championship
In the Championship we find a bunch of players "clearly exciting, but at what cost?". A lot of these will end up with new clubs, while some (like the Leeds duo) might not move.
Jobe Bellingham, 18, Sunderland, midfielder
Crysencio Summerville, 22, Leeds, winger
Jack Clarke, 23, Sunderland, winger
Jacob Greaves, 23, Hull City, defender (right footed CB/LB)
Finn Azaz, 23, Middlesbrough, midfielder
Rav van den Berg, 19, Middlesbrough, defender (RB/RWB)
Archie Gray, 18, Leeds United, defender (RB)
Jaden Philogene-Bidace, 22, Hull City, midfielder/winger
League One
Not too much fun in League One last season. Marc Leonard by far the most interesting player there for us, we'll see what happens with that.
Potential first team signings
None
Potential youth signings
Daniel Kanu, 19, Charlton, winger/striker
Potential value signings
Charlie Hughes, 20, Wigan, defender
Ronnie Edwards, 21, Peterborough, defender
Karamoko Dembele, 21, Blackpool, right wing (left footed)
Nothing in League Two really.
Scotland
Potential first team signings
Matt O'Riley, 23, Celtic, anywhere in midfield (left footed)
Potential youth signings
Lennon Miller, 17, Motherwell, MC
Fletcher Boyd, 16, Aberdeen, RW
Rory Whittake, 16, Hibernian, RB
