Inflatables and Celery Children

Right, well i am probably not the first to say it, but the bloody kids chucking f***ing celery about have been doing my head in.

I like sitting in the blocks with a bit of atmosphere, but not while there are moronic children endlessly playing with scraps of vegetable and chucking it about all over the place.

alright, its fine and all good fun, this includes inflatables, before the game, and maybe five minutes in. but it always goes on too long, even if the game was a little bit of a washout, having some brat playing silly cocks and hanging a lob of celery off your ear does not go in any way toward entertaining in it's place. last time i checked we were there to watch football.

i could have cheered when those lads got chucked out for carrying it on. i looked over and other little sods were stuffing ratty ends of the stuff in their tracksuit pockets. i would have given them a clip round the ear, but i expect their gorilla-like father was watching secretly from somewhere, possibly the trees behind, with a smirk, waiting for such an eventuality, and just champing at the bit to dish out some pain.

well anyway, rant over.

am i right in thinking there is something about celery for BHAFC fans from the glorious past? i read that once...

'if she don't come, i'll tickle her bum... with a stick of celery' ...?

this is all well and good, but lets chant that, rather than let the little fuckers turn a football match into a ruddy food fight.

gah!

ps. i love stewards

NOT FUNNY NOT FUNNY NOT FUNNY

do you have the sense of humour of an 8 year old?

funniest thing was the look on the faces of the kids who pushed it too far and got kicked out. NOW THAT was funny. i dearly wished one of them would cry.

alright i'm having a rant, summoning the annoyance from the matches when it has gone on. i'm not saying its not funny at first... but ALL game? don't you get tired of it? god buggering SHIT man!

I'd have given you about 10 minutes in the old North Stand.

Considering it was one match I think it should be viewed as just that, some silly fun for one match. It definitely should not carry on into next season though. Same with the inflatables.

In fairness to the bloke, they did chuck it about for the entire 90+ minutes however at times it was funny, apart from the bit where the bloke I was sitting with got ketchup coated celery thrown at him, oh and the bit where two little fat blokes, one of whom got seriously hacked off, were bombarded was a particular highlight.

It is funny up to a point however the Pikey mafia throw anything they can get there hands on at everyone in the block and that get's on my nerves.

i'm glad some people know where i'm coming from...

and btw, the more militant stuff was tongue in cheek! as for the north stand comment, what do you mean? some skinhead thug would give me a wedgee and put some celery down my collar? how terrifying!

and... what makes you think i never visited the old north stand? it was f***ing great. nutters dancing about singing lets go f***ing mental was, as it turns out, what I found funny at 13... not giggling about chucking f***ing celery

Took my missus to here first match a couple of weeks ago. She did not think much of the footie, but thought the celery was hysterical......Sit somewhere else mate, footie is all about chilling out and having a laugh. If you dont like the channel, switch over (i.e sit somewhere else).

Under your skin.

Cos one of them was Scotish? ???

The fact they didn't get kicked out for throwing Celery means his point makes no sense at all.
