Feels like it’s slipping away. 95-4.

Arse, there goes Malan. They’ve kept up with the RRR, but that’s just too many wickets down now.

We are turning down too many singles so the rate is now too high.

Judging by Wood so far, it’s the correct decision to reject singles. Can’t pick a slower ball.

It’s a shame really, this score was really gettable, the top order let us down for once.

Turning down the ones and twos has cost us the game.

Rubbish.

Protecting Wood and having the opportunity for Curran to then hit boundaries got us that close.

It was the top order not getting enough that cost the game (and some not brilliant bowling). Certainly not turning down the odd run to keep the better batter on strike

So frustrating seeing us NOT take so many singles in the Curran/Wood partnership. Wood was more than capable of getting Curran back on strike.

And we fell short by 7. Great effort but why do that?

It wasn’t just the odd run though was it.
