Playing CRICKET at 6.30pm in theory.

Storms can KNACK off.

Not a hope in hell!

Ha! Plain wrong - shows what YOU know.

(We played a full 20 balls, before the apocalypse began...)

I have never been so wet. Absolutely torrential.

Once the cricket was washed out in Sarisbury, I drove through the sheeting rain to Nursling, to the pre-season football match that I'd opted out of in favour of the cricket. Incredibly the mentalist old ref got the entire 90 minutes played, under black skies full of lightning.

The later storm, in the middle of the night was incredible. My mrs is terrified of lightning, so I'm now tired and irritable.

I flew through that last night, although take off from Heathrow wasn't too bad I have been on less scary roller coasters than the approach into Toulouse for landing. Engines being viffed up and down as we rolled from side to side. Scary stuff, well it was to me anyway.

My lad was doing a nightshift at Parker Steel at the docks in Portslade. Apparently one of the cranes got struck by lightning.

Yikes.
