Incident after the game

Did anyone else see the incident after the game when three Priestfield Road residents started chanting Gillingham fans as we were leaving? Irony is one was wearing an Arsenal shirt. Can anyone elaborate what happened in the end?

was that the one where there was a little exchange with some of our fans and the police cos i was walking past at the time

They were just 3or4 youngtsers standing outside one of the houses with cans of lager shouting things out.
some of our fans took the bait, they were just stupid f***ing kids, who i doubt would be doing the same had Millwall been the opposition.

You think we have problems getting fans into Withdean. Those Gillingham 'fans' couldn't be arsed to walk 50 yards!

I heared one telling the cops he had a right to cheer for his team from his garden.

It was incitement and, if anything had happened, they would be the 1st to moan about football thugs.

if i can remember the response as the albion walked away, with old bill watching
was " you've only got 1 inch, you've only got one inch," which was deserved for the abuse they were shouting at brighton fans, something about our sexual preferences if i'm right.

i would'nt go as far as calling it an incident though.

I was the fan giving it you've only got one inch, after being banned from the game for so called abusing a woman pushing a pushchair which was a really original excuse seeing as i didn't even leave the pub to abuse anyone yes i was loud in the pub yes i was singing and yes i did wave at the silly policemans camera but no way would i ever abuse a woman or child.
I was walking back to the ground after the game to meet my wife and mate who were let in when these so called fans started insulting me so i gave them what for and they shut up when i was walking back down the rd with my wife and mate they started again so a little upset from earlier in the day i started by advising them it was best to keep quiet as i was not a happy bunny which they did then started on other Brighton fans when i'd passed which resulted in me singing the one onch song while wiggling my little finger.
Shit day out, shit result, and i learned a valuable lesson don't take the piss out of the old bill until inside the ground.
